Food, service, cleanliness and atmosphere are all top-notch. An absolute gem of a restaurant that we should all be incredibly thankful for to have in our neighbourhood. We should really be supporting them as best we can to ensure their survival. It shocks me how empty it is at times. This restaurant (and it's cafe) have the recipe down pat to not only be a local favourite, but also city-wide icon of what a fantastic restaurant should be. It really ought to be packed every single day.

Had dinner with friends last night - delicious samosas (Crispy and not greasy, vegetarian filling was just spicy enough), had lamb rendang, eggplant, and tandoori shrimp - just fabulous! Thank you very much for a declicious and attentive dinner.

Come for breakfast at the coffee shop or a delightful dinner at their restaurant! Also, if you are in a rush, just grab the best mango lassi of your life . This Indian restaurant is definitely my favorite . From the impeccable and friendly service to the most flavorful breakfast sandwich and beef roll, you won't be disappointed. Everything on the menu is great; you can't go wrong. I highly recommend this coffee shop and restaurant.

Must try for all Ottawa foodies!!! We were so pleasantly surprised with everything from the food to the decor. The dishes we tried were so well spiced (especially the Sri Lankan chili crab!!), beautifully plated, and the portion sizes were good too. The service is what makes this rating 5 stars, the staff were all so kind and really went above and beyond. We highly recommend and look forward to returning!

This is what you want when you think of a mixing of cultures and the future of Canadian cuisine. I love the fact you can get so many different blends of spices and culture in one place and its authentic feeling. Food was amazing and the service was attentive in making sure we knew what we were ordering and how to navigate our meal. We did it family style and it was plenty of food and how I would go back again. Only thing I would want changed is more pickled side with the chicken. Specially for the amount of chicken we had ordered. I highly recommend and will update my review as I experience it more.

Love this place. I have gone multiple times for their lunch buffet, and I recommend it to everyone. It is NOT like a franchise buffet restaurant. The selection is smaller, but well curated (and had different mains each of my visits), and has a much more home-cooked feel. I mean this in the most complimentary way. I'm also obsessed with the little complimentary cups of hot soup they serve you, in tiny earthenware pots. The prices are reasonable and the staff is so conscientious and friendly!! Their mango lassi is also so good. My friend took a single sip of mine, and then ordered another one haha I have also tried the oven roasted Korean Fried Chicken in Seoul Station, which is the same restaurant (just different menu). Similar to Dhurvees' food, it's got a home cooked feel but is still really tasty and well made. If you want authentic KFC you should go elsewhere, but the chicken here is an amazing healthier option with less grease and just as much flavour.

My wife and I are regulars at this restaurant. It is one of the best restaurants in the city - especially for South Asian food! My wife is a vegetarian and she loves the Palak Paneer. As for myself, my favourite menu item is the Jafna Chicken Curry. The samosas are also excellent starters. The staff are always friendly and the atmosphere is very warm and inviting. I would totally recommend coming here.

This is the best Indian food I’ve had in Ottawa, and honestly possibly ever. The service is amazing, they serve you an adorable tiny bowl of soup at the bar as you wait for your takeout. They give you all the sauces for takeout, all of them are absolutely delicious and so flavourful and fresh. I will be recommending this place to everyone I know and can’t wait to try everything on the menu.
